Small Box Grater

This is a small grater, perfect for small hands.

Cutting Boards

I like the nonslip corners on these boards - great for knife safety (so the board doesn't move while you're cutting).

Also, the small one is adorable & perfect for little ones.

learning Tower

Our learning tower stays at our kitchen island and we use it multiple times a day. TC does his cutting there and a lot of food prep, plus it gives him a good vantage point for observing us cooking.

Linen Beach Towels

These large towels are great for cooking on the kitchen floor. They dry fast and cover a lot of area.

Toddler Knives

These knives are extremely light-weight and a bit sharper than the butter knives with flat cutting edges - great for small hands! They also don't have ridges, which is one of the most dangerous parts of table knives in my opinion.
Here's an article about using knives & different types of knives in the Montessori Education tradition.

Prep Bowls

We use these bowls for everything: washing hands, washing produce, mixing wet and dry ingredients, etc.

They're light-weight and easy to handle for little ones.

Mixing Bowl

The rubber handle and bottom of this bowl help it stay in place for young mixers. Mixing actually takes a lot of coordination, so having a tool like this to take some of the work out of it can be really helpful!

This bowl is pretty tall, so it's best used on a lower surface.

Apple Peeler & Slicer

Kids definitely needs supervision with this one since it has sharp parts in hidden places, but they also love watching the peels spiral away.

Teach them exactly where to put their hands, and you'll be able to make apple sauce and apple pie together in no time.

Vitamix Blender

This is the best blender for making green smoothies because it purees the greens until they are no longer chunky.

We also use this blender to make Easy Pancakes and other purees like apple sauce.

Instant Pot

We use this as a rice cooker, slow cooker, yogurt maker, and pressure cooker.

I recommend getting the 7-in-1 because it has the yogurt function, and many kids love to eat and make yogurt.
